California’s under-14 state freestyle wrestling champion, Makynlee Cova, is not only an emerging force to be reckoned with on and off the mat, but also an internet sensation.
The wrestling champion has trended recently with an Instagram video showing her struck a confident pose mid-match while holding her opponent in a leg cradle. The clip showcases not only Cova’s athletic talent but also her charismatic personality and has amassed over an astonishing 500,000 likes.
While clinching the state freestyle title last June, senior Cova has amassed 47-20 wrestling marks, with 33 via fall. With skill and finesse, Cova dominates many of her opponents, with a large following online who believe she may be the perfect combination.
